White Cloudy Pool

I was getting excited to see a clear pool and didn't want to anything to go negative on me.
Salt can be added anytime you have the bandwidth for it in between slam tasks. (Slam always takes priority). Raising the salt might even help pass the time when you're waiting for the filter to polish out the last bit of dull water. Brushing the salt around will kill 2 birds with one stone

But use your salt test as the baseline and not the poolstore.

+10 CYA raises the slam FC +4, on the other hand. So at 70 CYA your target is 28 FC and its expensive to maintain. That one would have hurt.

Well, my water is crystal clear and last night's readings (at sunset) were FC: 16.0 / CC: 0.5 and this morning at 6:30 am the readings were identical!
Can I now hook up my SWG and add my salt? We have storms/heavy rain forecast for tonight and tomorrow so I want to get started on my next steps.

As a side note: this has been a real learning experience for me and everyone's input/recommendations have been greatly appreciated, which is why I donated to this great community.

NICE !!!

Yup. Dial it in with plenty of FC wiggle room above min. So, 8 or 9 and not 3. You'll have to drift down to target range first which will take at least a few day and give you time for the salt.

SWEET. We're all volunteer here but it costs real money to keep the lights on. Every donation extends the date we go dark so there's more chance we'll be here the next time you need. Or just in case you needed.
