Whisper Flo impeller size

My mistake, I read the number wrong from the picture. I read it as 355008S.

Also, in the first post, the OP said the pump was a WFE-2 but the replacement motor they put on it is for a WF-2. So they did not replace like for like.

In my opinion, pump manufacturers are way over complicating pump specifications.

It's really nonsense to have 4 models of essentially the exact same pump.

They make a full rated and up rated version of the exact same pump and a regular and "energy efficient" model of each.

All they need is one model that's rated by total hp and is the "energy efficient" model.

I'm not even sure that there's any significant difference between the regular and energy efficient model.

It's probably just marketing hype.

Even if there is a difference, why would you use anything but the most efficient motor?

Builders and homeowners already have enough difficulty choosing the correct pump. Most pumps are probably sized wrong anyway.

Why make it much more complicated than it needs to be?

The switch to variable speed pumps is definitely helping a lot.

The main issue with variable speed pumps is getting the programming correct.
