I recently purchased the Circupool RJ45 and would love some advice on where to install it. I had originally thought that I would install it on the pipe run you see after my chlorinator that runs along the pad. I would need to raise it up but it would be in the line before it splits to my booster pump.
Then I thought about putting it on the raised return line after it splits to the booster pump. It would mean the water running through the booster pump is not newly chlorinated but is that important? I rarely use my booster as I mostly use a robotic cleaner. Curious what you all would recommend.

Thanks so much for the advice in advance.

The SWG is generally the very last item before the line goes back to the return jets. I'm having a hard time seeing everything on your pad. Could you add a couple more pics from different angles so we can see everything? Especially on the pressure side going back. I have RJ install in my signature.

More pictures attached. Thank you!

Thank you. So no harm done in bypassing the booster pump for the Polaris? I wouldn't think so but thought I'd check with the experts.

Not at all. You want the SWG (and flow switch) operating on the same water return as your main pump anyway. Your cleaner may be on a different timer or programming schedule and you don't want the SWG to be tied to it.

Oh yes. I understand that. I'm sorry I probably didn't explain myself well. As my return water comes out of the heater it runs behind the water heater and then splits. One line goes back to the pool and the other runs through the booster before going back to the pool. Essentially a bypass at the very end of the line before heading back into the ground. I rarely use by booster and just leave the ball valve open and let water flow through it all the time.

I had originally thought the chlorinated water from the cell should also flow through the booster since I leave it open but that doesn't sound like it's important.

Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks again.

I understand. It's best to be on that separate (final) stretch of PVC line. The chlorinated water doesn't need to pass through the booster pump, just go back to the pool.

It did take me a couple minutes between all the pics to follow those PVC lines all around. Ha ha.
