when to start using pool cover after new plaster

I have a automatic pool cover and my pool was plastered recently.
I was told by the builder not to use the pool cover for atleast a couple of weeks or upto a month.

Is there a specific duration after which I can start using the pool cover ?

What date was your pool filled?

I would give it 28 days from when water went into the pool.
