Hi everyone! I have an above ground seasonal vinyl pool. I filled and added stabilizer according to recommended values here. I'm just wondering once I get a test within range for the cya fc and ph is it ready to swim in? Been filled for 2 days my test results are:

CYA = 40
FC = 6
PH= 7.4

You're good - go swim. :swim:
Don't forget to test afterwards and dose chlorine to the high die of target range for your CYA.
FC/CYA Levels
And keep pH in the 7.2 to 7.8 range
Great news thank you! I will do that for sure last year we had an algae bloom after going on vacation and I never did get it under control for the rest of the summer so I'm doing my absolute best to prevent it from happening h agon seems like that's the easiest way to go lol

Be sure to keep FC in the target range (actually high side of the target range) for your CYA level. FC/CYA Levels

Is your pool 2893 gallons as listed in your account details or 1000 gallons as listed in your signature?

Post pics of your equipment and maybe we can help ID it.

Very sorry I didn't realize that was in my signature according to the mfg manual it's 2893 I had guessed last year because I misplaced all the paper work. I will post a picture when I'm able to as I'm not home atm. One more question and maybe I should start a new thread but with my filter it uses disposable media cartridges and I was curious if it is acceptable to just wash the filter and cycle it again before replacing it. Just thinking I could save money and waste if I could get more time out of it before throwing it away. Obviously if I have any algae issues and such I would not reuse it but worry that just reusing the filter for another cycle could actually create an algae issue?

Keepimg everything in this thread is fine.

Post a pic and/or manufacturer/model number of your filter.
Most cartridge filters are able to be cleaned. And having algae doesn't necessarily mean the cartridge needs to be replaced.

This is the pump I am using it's from Amazon where I bought it so not my picture, will this work? If you want a picture of my actual pump and set up I'll have to upload it tomorrow as it's dark here but will be more than happy to do so! Thanks for all the help!!
