whats this look like to you

my numbers are at home
i have some from the time each pic was taken
about 2 weeks between each pic

here is like i said about 2 weeks ago

and here is the other day

turned the swg up some
put some DE in the sand filter
increased my CYA as it was low

when i get home ill post the numbers i have
have not tested since i put in the chemicals yesterday

Don't bother to test CYA if you have a number from before addition. Newest won't show on test for a week or more. FC is vital. Is salt level correct?

fc when i took to the pool store tuesday night he said was low, i think it was around 2, should be 3-5
so i turned up the swg

befor the first pic when i tested it it was more then 1 but less then 2
i will test again when i get home to see

Well, to me it looks like your pool is going from blue-ish to green-ish.

With the TF100 kit, what is the CC level?

How much CYA have you added to pool?

this most recent time i added 2 lbs

2 lbs would raise your CYA by 22 and if you could see the black dot with the tube full, then assume it was about 20, so now it's about 40 and you need to add enough chlorine to bring the FC to at least 5 ppm.

Once you've done that use your TF-100 to run the FC & CC test and I'd even go ahead and run an OCLT tonight.

it says if my fc is 1, to bring it to 5, i need 68oz of bleech, so about 1/2 gallon
correct?
now unfortunately i am having people over tomorrow, if i put the bleech in tonight, is it fine for everyone to swim tomorrow?

From 1 to 5, I get 91 oz of 6% bleach. Let's recheck that.
So, I'd just add a small jug, 96oz, if indeed you have 1 and going to 5.

Well, we'd like to see the FC/CC #'s first.

Yes, about 45 mins or so after adding the bleach, retest and post FC/CC results.

Did you make sure you have 11,000 gallons as the pool size and 6% as the bleach strength? I get the same thing Butterfly gets.

just refreshed and tried again, got diff numbers, odd, pool size stayed the same
