What should I add first? Muriatic Acid or Stabilizer

I have turned down the SWG to get the FC down a bit. I am thinking I should add the stabilizer first, and then re-test the pH before adding muriatic acid. Is that correct? And, if I use liquid stabilizer, how long should a I wait to re-test/add the acid?

Adding stabilizer will have little effect on the others. Go ahead and increase the CYA now if you need to. Since your FC is still under 10, you should get an accurate pH reading now as well. If you use the liquid gold conditioner to increase CYA, you should see the changes in a couple hours or so. Certainly as the day progresses.
