What pressure should my filter tank display?

I have an old Pentair 100 sq ft filter tank, with the proper filter and recently cleaned. It stays at about 15 psi all the time. This seems high. There's a chart on the tank showing what the pressure should be but it's mostly ripped off so I can't see what the pressure should be.
Thanks!

Re: What pressure should my filter be running?

There is no set pressure. It is dependent on what pump you have how dirty the filter is and all of the plumbing in your system. 15 psi is reasonable.

Re: What pressure should my filter be running?

Just a personal observation from running two Pentair filters. Mine started running at around 10psi when new even when the pumps are running at higher speeds but over time I was seeing 20psi as normal after regular pressure water cleaning. Only after acid wash (5:1 and 10 minute soak per side) did they go back down to around 10psi.

If the pressure is reducing after an acid wash that means that you must not be maintaining your CSI properly.

Also a bit of a pet peeve, filters don't run pumps run
