Hi there. I’ve read many different articles trying to figure out the best adhesive to use for when replacing my spider gasket in a SM10-3 MPV. Any good recommendations I could get at Lowe’s, HD, or an auto parts store? Thanks!

Some brands recommend Loctite 401 or 416, but owners have used many other products like Permatex or regular clear GE silicone from the local store.
Whatever you use, be sure to use it sparingly and be neat about it. Keep it only on the bottom side of the gasket or in the MPV base grooves. You don't want glue on the top where it could attached to the diverter itself.
