In the title...just installed my Hayward heat pro...everything is great...installed the chlorinator after my check valve and everything but I used a fitting from lowes that is a 2" to 1.5 reducer..I'm guessing since it's not for pressure that's why I'm leaking right there....what kind of fitting should I be using

Take the chlorinator out. The pucks will force you to drain your pool after it turns green. Nobody wants that.
I'll bet the reducer is correct. If it's actually leaking at the joint, it should be replaced. You'll need 2 couplers and another reducer and possibly a union. Be sure to use purple PVC primer on all joints as well as the PVC glue. Do a good job on applying coverage to all touching surfaces. Be careful it can be messy.
I'm an electrician by trade..I hate plumbing...that's where I went wrong...no cleaner and just half assed the glue because I was in a rush to get this going...I'll cut and replace tomorrow

If its a Hayward CL200 chlorinator, then the black union fittings that come with it are for 1.5" pipe (internally glued) or 2.0" pipe (externally glued). The 2" to 1.5" adapter sold at Lowes is a non-pressure rated ABS DWV pipe (which is probably why the PVC glue isn't sealing) and is not needed for the chlorinator installation..

Most people don't, but if its not needed why bother? If it's a different chlorinator that requires the adapter, then be sure use the green PVC to ABS transition cement along with your purple primer.
