Hello, posted a few weeks ago and got no response so trying again...

I need to help a friend fix a leaking waterfall Jacuzzi and don't know what brand or type of mortar to buy. here is a picture of the jacuzzi, the red line is the waterfall and it is leaking through the wall where the blue circles are,

here is an image of the waterline. There is some cement then the rock is on top. It appears to be leaking in the corners but I'll mortar over the whole front waterline edge just to be sure.

any help is appreciated

Using mortar as a "band aid" to stop a water leak like that is an exercise in frustration. You have to determine where, on the inside of the spa, the water is intruding and address that. Home Depot has a Waterproof Mortar that may work. Its a good product, but finding the actual leak is the issue.

Thank you, it appears to be leaking in the corners, assuming that is where it is leaking would you recommend using something besides mortar to repair it? I was thinking Sikaflex but I read that it doesn't hold up well when submerged under water in a chlorine environment. Aside from that what else is recommended to fix the leak?

I have the leak dye that I plan to use to find the leak but just want to know what is the best material to seal it so the leak is fixed
