We have a pandemic era pool, i documented the build on tfp which provided integral help to our less than smooth build. The design was actually based on a sketch that was drawn up in ~2007 just before the recession which put the kabosh on the build at that time. The faux rock slide, waterfall and grotto is the main feature but hidden within that is my favorite , albeit accidental feature, the outdoor shower. It was accidental as my builder had planned for an elevated planter to the right of the grotto/left of the stairs but when the inspector came for the pre-shotcrete inspection he noted that the engineering drawings did not address the planter. As the shotcrete was already scheduled they cut away the planter which once the shotcrete had been completed presented itself as a perfect shower location! All of the lighting is formed into the rockwork and ar illuminated by smart 12v rgb-cct MR-16 bulbs.
