Water Test Input Please

Hi all. So I got my algae bloom under control and the water looks great - nice and clear. I shocked the Crud out of it for about 2 weeks and due to some local supply chain issues, have been forced to let the chlorine fall back to nothing. So I decided to do a full water test and get your opinions in any balancing to do before resuming chlorine.

As I said, no free chlorine for this test.
pH - 7.6/7.8
TA - 80 PM
CH - 70
CYA - 30

I figured I should bump the CYA slightly, try to get closer to 40 or 45. Also my pH was higher (around 8) when I stl had 3-5 ppm of F-Cl in the water, so wasnt sure if I should lower just a bit so when there is consistently around 5 ppm free chlorine it's still around 7.6.

Thanks all - any other suggestions welcomed.

First order of business - increase the FC right away or you'll be back in SLAM mode. I'd increase the FC to about 5-7 immediately. Everything else is fine for now. Keep that FC in the 5-7 range and monitor. If you suspect excessive FC loss, do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test before increasing the CYA to make sure algae didn't try to get back in there.

I just dumped my last 2 gallons in. If anyone in eastern PA has any leads for liquid chlorine, send em my way. My local lowes ran out, and only 1 local pool place has it, 2.5 gallons for $18.99. May have no other choice.

If you want a swimmable pool, yeah, you may have to go that route.
Look around for Pool Essentials 10% chlorine at Walmart, or plain, unscented, non-Clorox, non-thickened bleach in the laundry aisle. The plain stuff may be a tad weaker but its perfect to use. Dollar General type places often sell the plain stuff.

Don't let all you efforts to go from green to clear go to waste.
