Hi everyone,

I've seen a lot of posts discussing preferences for water temperature. My family likes it warm and I'm not having any trouble keeping the pool 88+ with the solar cover.

My question is if I need to worry about the temperature getting too high? Everything I can find online is about swimmer safety and overheating while doing laps. I'm not really concerned about that. I'm just looking to avoid chemistry balance issues, damaging the SWG, algae, etc.

Thanks!

Not really. Just keep up with your water chemistry tests.

High water temperature can cause CYA to degrade so check it every few weeks.

Thanks! I watch the FC and pH levels pretty closely. I'll start checking the CYA a little more often.
