Got an “err” code on my pro-logic remote control. I accessed the diagnostics and got a “water sensor short circuit” read. I replaced the water sensor with a new one, started the system up again and I still have the same error code. I’m unable to heat up my spa because of this error. The replacement part is almost identical, down to the “phone jack” type connector used to connect to the panel. I have a Hayward Pro-Logic panel. Anyone have any suggestions other than call a “real” repair tech?

The phone jack is the flow sensor.
The problem is the water temperature sensor that should be mounted in the pipe.
