Water return jets positioning

Hello everyone,
Livelox here.

I started reading about water return jets in the pool and I want wondering how to set mine. I have read around 10 threads regarding this however i did not find anything for a rectangular pool.
I have a rectangular pool and have 2 return jets on the one long side, and the skimmers on the other long side of the pool.
What should i do?
Also will setting the full top aerate the water?

Mine are laid out like yours, two returns on the long side with the skimmer on the other long side. My returns are pointing in the same direction to get circular flow in the pool. Standing on the long side they both point left and slightly up so the surface of the water is pushed toward the skimmer. Occasionally I'll point one straight up when I want to roil/aerate the water to control PH.

Toss some ping pong balls in and see if you can detect your circulation pattern.
