Water balancing vs temperature

I am in the process of closing my pool for the winter. I have balanced the water for a perfect Pool Math CSI of 0.0 at the current temperature of high 60s. When I use the Pool Math calculator and change the temperature to 40 the CSI drops to -0.4 to -0.5.

How does everyone handle this change in CSI versus temperature? If I balance it for a 0.0 CSI at 40, the CSI at the current 60s is +0.4 to +0.5. And all this will happen while the pool is closed and covered so not much opportunity to alter things after the fact.

Don't worry about it too much. Remember that even though your water temp will drop, the pH will naturally increase which helps to counter that effect. You should be fine.
