Warrior SI Robot Issue

Hello -

I’ve been experiencing issues with a 4-year old Warrior SI robot cleaner where it starts, rolls forward, reverses and shuts down. After speaking with Marina where we purchased it, I taped the wheel bushings which seemed to help it run longer so I ordered and replaced them, but the issue persists.

I the. Checked the impeller for debris and it’s clear and spins freely, including during startup. The top cover that rotates also worked as expected.

Today, I removed the power cable and noticed it’s severely crimped down where it passes along the motor. The white clip that holds the motor in place makes contact and seems to pinch the wire. Is this normal? Picture attached for reference.

Thanks,
Greg

Our SE had the same exact same issue (and also had the same pinched wire, that is normal).

I rebuilt the impeller motor (new o-rings, carbon brushes and bearings) and that solved it.
