Hello All !
So glad summer is on its way!

Opened pool last week.
CYA very low again. Had to add water at opening.
Not at home now but here is what I Remember the latest test results to be.

CYA was very low, maybe 10 if lucky

On Saturday I added approx 1.5 - 2 lbs. Granular CYA. I'm trying to raise CYA to over 30. Sock in front of return, squeezing till dissolved (About an hour).
Filter ran 12 hrs on Saturday and Sunday. 4 hours so far today. Is this a long enough time to wait to test CYA?
And If its all dissolved can I vacuum with the robot using a fine particle filter, or will the robot filter pick up the CYA?

Thank you for your help!

Thank you.

It should be, hopefully it's sunny out & water temp is over 60F (otherwise let the sample warm to room temp before testing CYA, about 30min)

Unless the granules were put in the pool, the robot should not remove the CYA :)

Thank you for the response!
No sun. But no rain. Anyway Warmed up water to over 60. Inside by light and outside with no sun cya reads maybe 40.
I’ll check it again tomorrow. E10 is vacuuming up the tree mess as we speak. Thanks again!
You are welcome! That sounds great!
