So I have a portable volleyball net setup with bases on either side of the pool that are not anchored to the pool deck in any way. The idea is you fill up the bases with water and that provides weight to relatively keep them stable.
Well, after a while, they leak water and they lighten up and can be blown around in a heavy wind. You fill up the base through a hole in the top a little larger than a quarter in diameter.
My question is what can I fill it with that is heavy, and won't leak out. Thinking something like BBs (you know like for a BB gun), but a LOT of it, etc.... Marbles would be perfect because they wouldn't rust and could fit in the hole and they are heavy.
I figure landscaping sand/gravel would work too. Would need a funnel to get it in there.

Thoughts?
