So owning a pool is new to us, and I know the previous owners mentioned that there was a small patch job done in the liner of our pool (no idea when but yes pool is 2002 build).
Had a bunch of family over to swim today, and of course my 8 year old nephew comes to see me with his goggles and says: "look I found this sticker it was so hard to removed but I took it off the bottom of your pool!".....noooooooo. Yes. he did.
I have no history on this patch job (why it was done, how bad it was...) just that the piece he pulled off looks about the size of a hockey puck. My best guess is a Chelonia pick was on bottom of the floor and burned a hole in the liner?! Either way it's gone.
i ran to get a repair kit, but it's much thinner plastic that what he pulled off (or it seems that way). I stuck it on (cut a bigger piece) and I'm wondering if I should be worried or what I can do from here on out? I'm finally on a role with having my pool balanced and clean and now this.
any advice?
