Variable Speed pump rpm/flow recommendations

I’m a week into the new pool and am wondering if there is any information on recommended speeds and duration of run times for the pool filter. I notice the start up guy set the pool pump/filter speed around 1200rpm and the speed at about 2800 rpm with the booster pump operating (Kreepy krauly). I believe they were set to operate for about 5 hours but I have since made some changes (I know I should have written the existing settings down!). Should I just have the main pump and booster (always interlocked with main pump) come on for the same amount of time? Or should there be a period of time where I only operate the main pump/filter at a reduced speed? Thanks in advance

Not trying to be a pain but if I were you, I would not interfere with the startup that could potentially harm the warranty until their term is over. But it's just me!

I was thinking the same thing but I’m pretty much on my own in terms of servicing the pool in the future. Just looking for some guidelines which I believe I may have found. Thanks for the advice!
