I have the opportunity to buy this filter and valve for $300. It was excavated from a pool tear out and used as part of the pay. It is fairly new, and was removed because pool was removed. They did however move it with the sand inside and as you can see it's laying on it's side. WOuld you avoid or chance it knowing you might have to replace somethings. Thanks

As long as the shell is not cracked it is worth it... you may have to replace everything inside as you will not know if anything broke till you connect it to a pump...
