Hey guys,

Just need some clarification on numbers in pool math.

So my FC Level is 4 (as per my test results yesterday). When I go to pool math and use the 'effects of adding' feature, I asked what would happen if I added 3 gallons of 10% liquid chlorine. It said it would raise my FC levels by 10. 10 what? Does that mean my new level should be around 14? Or am I missing something? I'm sure it's simple, just need some one to spell it out haha. Thanks in advance.

you can also use poolmath to get the same thing.. current FC 4 and target FC 14 and it should come out to 3 gallons :)

If you log your test results they will show up on the main page then when you select the fc tab it will show your current reading & your suggested target - it will take into account your last logged cya level. You can switch the toggle to slam if thats what you’re trying to do.
