I have a aqua rite chlorine generator AQR15 and flow switch went bad. Pool starting turning green. Went to pool store and the told me to add 4 gal of liquid shock till a get a flow switch.. Did that and the green in the pool stared looking better and pool looks good now within about 8 hrs. Orderd new flow switch got it overnight Replace flow switch and put it on super chlorinate . Check it about 8 more hrs and and pool shows chlorine @ 1500. Added a bag of salt Checked it this morning and showing 1200. But light on aqua rite say needs salt and check cell. Did that and cleaned, which cell looked good. I have a in ground pool 16x32...3ft to 5ft deep. Could cell went bad to. Only had aqua rite for two years. Thanks

after you cleaned the cell did you hold down the diagnostic button for 3-5 seconds to reset the check cell light?
I'm not sure I understand how chlorine can be "1500" and "1200" what are you testing chlorine with and salt level?

No I didn't do that..Kept reading on line and seen where to reset. Looks like it working now. Reading 3000 and coming up. I get back if I still have problems. Thanks for replying...need all the help i can get.
