TriVac 700 getting stuck in corner

I've got a TriVac 700. It was working fine for the past year and now it gets stuck in the corner. When I pull it out of the water, it'll start cycling through blowing out the front, then back, then front, etc. But when I throw it back in the pool it heads in the forward direction until it gets in a corner by the stairs. The tail is wagging just fine. Checked the pressure and it's right at 23 PSI. In-line filter is clear. When I pull it out of the pool it shoots water everywhere like it always did so I don't think it's a water flow issue.

I've heard that the timer mechanism can be replaced. Does that sound about right?

You've got a Pressure Side Sweeper, so I'm not sure a timer is the issue?
Do you have the manual? If not-

Check the manual about the line being too long, perhaps?
