Hi All,

First time posting so hope I’m doing this right. We’re in the middle of a pool remodel and will have Wet Edge Signature Matrix in Cadet Blue or Picasso Blue. We’re going to have a Baja shelf and a few bench seats and considering a trim tile/toe tile for these. Our builder said they don’t like to do trim tile with pebble finish because the tiles will be scratched by the small pebbles when they trowel over to smooth the plaster. Has anyone seen or experienced this? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Experience it weekly, I cannot answer for your plaster crew but this crew has not scratched the tile on any plaster jobs that I have been on. First picture shows no scratches, second picture shows process of Pebble finish being applied.

Thank you so much, and for the pics. Your crew’s work looks great! Makes me think maybe our builder doesn’t trust their crew then, ugh.

I think they just don't want to do it. Granted, I've only been on this site like 1.5 years but that's a complaint I've seen a total of zero times, lol. My plaster people did a crappy job but scratched trim tile was not an issue :)

Lol you’re probably right! Having trouble Google researching the issue as well. Thanks for your reply.
