Treo Lights

First year with a pool. Our liner is too big so we can't drain it too far. As a result, we can't drain below the Treo LED lights. The builder installed them after the pool was filled with water. I went to pull the lights and the connection is not coming out and the line is tight so I think the electrician really did a tough pull on them. I called the builder who said that when they close they just leave the lights in and not to worry about the water. Anyone else have experience? I would have thought the water in the conduit would expand and crack the pipe, but the builder said it expands to the path of least resistance. Thank you.

If they are low enough below waterline you can leave them in. As a safety you cam shutoff all power and run rv antifreeze down the conduit

Thanks. They are only a few inches below the water line. I’ll shut the power off.
