Totally Confused

thanks for the tip. I'm finding that out the hard way right now that the granules are not dissolving in the bucket. I wonder if I just pour that out in the street with a ton of running water, if that would be a problem. Or maybe dig a hole in the backyard to pour the mixture into?
How about you steal a pair of pantyhose from the wife and stretch them over the bucket and catch the stuff that way. Then hang the pantyhose in front of the return.

Well bummer, since I already did put it in the bucket I really don't want to pour it in the street. So what's the best thing to do then, just stir it in the bucket all day until I'm sure it's all dissolved? I'm taking my son to see Spider-Man here in an hour so I'll just let it sit and stir again when I get home.

Right now now it seems to be mixed pretty well and when I stir it, it's very milky white and when it stops I can't see the bottom of the 5 gallon bucket.

Richard's suggestion works.

If you don't want to do that, I would think the granules would be at the bottom of your bucket, so just pour off as much of the water on top as you can. Then pour the wet granules into a sock slowly letting water drain and make more room until you get everything let in there. Then just hang the sock in front of a return jet like normal.
