Tomball TX Construction Started - Tile Done 6/23

We just moved to new home in February and the house is amazing but the backyard is really small and slopes down to back fence about 2 feet. We decided to go ahead and make most of the yard a pool and selected a PB couple weeks ago and then they had to delay someone that was slotted to start on June 1 and we moved into the slot.

I just ordered the Test Kit and am excited and nervous at same time over whether I can make the water as amazing as so many on here or not.

The digging was done on Monday and have the rebar and some plumbing in there now. I am glad to have come across this site even if can be overwhelming with information at times.

Congrats on the new project and welcome to TFP! As for the water, as long as you have a TF-100 (link below) or Taylor K-2006C test kit, you'll be fine. We'll be happy to help you along the way. Good luck with your build.

We are in waiting phase for confirming the back logged Gunite folks as here in Houston area pool building has taken off while most rest of economy is tanking.

Gunite work in progress and started about 7am this morning. This crew is doing another for same PB in my neighborhood after this one today.

Gunite was completed this afternoon and my first watering is done as well.

Tile and coping completed today as we are moving along pretty well.

It is not a sunny day so the tile not as reflective as can be here in these pics but my wife for sure loves it.
