Timer for pump and swg

Hi,
I currently have a 1.5 hp pump (which will be switched to 2 speed pump soon as installer brought the wrong one) and a swg. I’d like to set up a timer. Is there any timer model you recommend? I assume I will need 2, one for pump one for swg? Who do you call to install? My outlets are on a post next to pump, not on a wall, will that be a problem? My electrician says I have to get a pool company to install and not them. Is that right?

I should probably ask if there is any plug and play version without electrician or pool company doing it... thanks

The SWG needs/has to be wired together with the pump. Safety first. You can do it with one timer. The wiring is quite simple mostly anyone handy with a screwdriver can do it. Search for pictures of timers.
