Time to upgrade, which is best?

Ok, so I’ve rebuilt my Tiger Shark QC a couple times and it’s lasted 7 years. It’s done a great job and owes me nothing at this point. However, it seems to be getting dumber. It used to clean the pool very well, but now I’ve watched it clean the same 8’ strip of pool for the past hour.
In hind site I wish I would have spent the extra couple hundred on the remote control model.
Now I’m looking for a new cleaner that can actually clean the entire pool without repeating itself or getting stuck against the wall. I’m seeing some good reviews on the new Dolphin. Are they manually programmable? Does it do a true scan of the pool or is it some Crud algorithm that only works sometimes?
What’s the longevity on the dolphin?
Is the Polaris or new Tiger Shark any good?

Update! Got the new Polaris Sport 9550 today. It has been upgraded with the new tangle reducing fitting just a
like the newer models! I love the fact that you can choose, floor only, walls only, or both. It moves around much faster and I have not seen it get stuck in one spot or do the same strip over and over again. Remote control for spot cleaning is nice to have as well.
I got it from Poolsupplies.com for $1099.
