Time to SLAM?

Good morning, gods of pool chemistry!

I've been testing my water regularly and it's been a pretty great summer so far with lots of friends coming over to enjoy the pool. My latest test was yesterday morning and these were my results:

pH: 7.4
FC: 2.5
TC: 2.5
TA: 60
CYA: 50
CH: 140

The FC was up at 4.5 a few days prior and I just assumed that the loss was due to people continuously swimming in my pool. Added some liquid bleach and got it back up to 5.5 and did an OCLT last night. First sample was taken at 8PM with SWCG off and I got a FC of 5.5. Left the pumps off all night and recirculated again at 6AM this morning with the SWCG off. FC just came back at 4.0.

The pool isn't super hazy but I've been having this FC loss for the past few weeks or so. My thought is to run a SLAM up to FC of 20 for the next 48 hours with the pumps circulating and the SWCG off and then run another OCLT Thursday night - Friday morning. If everything comes out kosher, then I'll backwash my cartridge filters and go about normal use again.

Am I on the right track here?

Thanks in advance!
