Time to resurface?

Hello. I have an inground pool that's pretty old. When should I think about resurfacing if at all?

Plaster can last from 10 to 20 years depending on original grade and how well it was maintained.
If existing plaster is cracked or have pieces broken out. Also look for soft spots in the plaster by pushing on it.
If it is really old, plan to have all the old plaster chipped out before adding new plaster.
