Time of year affects pool install cost - New Jersey

Folks, I remember seeing ads from builders in the New Jersey area at beginning of Spring which were 1000$$ cheaper than the prices now. So wondering when is the best time to approach a PB.

My perspective is that perhaps approach the PB when folks are not thinking about the pool towards end of august.

Again this is in the New Jersey area where we have 4 seasons.

Close by in NY our build starts in September. We are paying the same price as we would have in early spring. I am sure it depends on each PB no discount for us doing build at end of season.
