Time differences

I noticed that the times seem to be off on the forum, unless I just never noticed it before. My laptop is showing the correct local time (6:22PM), but the bottom of the forum says All times are GMT it is now 10:22PM. Is this something that I can change or is it a forum default. Forgive me if this a stupid error on my part, I'm usually on top of things but can occasionally get smacked in the face with the obvious.

Click on "Settings" on the top right, then pick "General Settings" on the left. In the resulting settings list find the time zone setting about half way down a rather long list.
