Tiger Shark will not sink

After 3 years of great performance my Tiger Shark will not sink, it just floats or fountains water. What am I doing wrong please?

Your fan on top of the Tiger Shark is broken and needs replaced. Just did mine 2 weeks ago.

Take out the restriction plate on the top by twisting then pull it out. Then take out the screw or screws and twist that bracket out and you should see the propeller shaft with the blades missing.
