This piece came out (picture attached)

Hi all, I found this white piece (see picture) in my vacuum and knew where it came from right away. I’m not sure how it popped out or even its role but my pool is less than a year old and I’m concerned. I tried to get it back in but I can’t get it in all the way. Any advice?

It's called bead lock for the liner. Pound it in with a mallet.
