In all the years and all the different pools and all the lessons learned the hard way...every new year brings a new problem. Sometimes I get lucky and sometimes I don't. At the end of the day, what matters is that the kids had a blast and were safe, maybe my wife was happy, too, sometimes I can't tell. Ultimately though, what matters...what has an effect on all those other important things, is that you learned something for next year. Once you become a pool owner, no matter the size or quality, one realizes that this is just the beginning.
