The Sun heats the fabric and it softens and sticks to the horizontal bar. BEFORE you take the support posts out heat it back up by using a heat gun ( Less than ($25 on Amazon).
Grab the bar and try to move the fabric back & forth. You can tell if it's stuck. If so, it takes 2 people to do it efficiently. One person moves the heat gun back & forth for a few seconds over about 12-18" and then starts to move down, then the 2nd one twists the fabric bacK & forth and the heated area will come loose. If it dosent, heat it some more. It took me about 1/2 hour to do an 8 X 16' pool.
If you've already taken the posts out it can still be done, it's just a lot more awkward.
