I just received my kit yesterday and tested my water for free chlorine. I noticed the drops from the R-0871 are smaller than front the other bottles I've used so far and it can be tricky to only let one drop out at a time. Last night when I tested my pool it took 16 drops to get the water to turn clear meaning 8ppm of free chlorine. I doubt that was the case because I'm starting the morning with an estimate of 6-7 ppm and yesterday I had 5 little kids and two adults in the pool. Last night I added 68 ounces of chlorine which gives me about 4 ppm and this morning when I tested for free chlorine it took 36 drops of R-0871 to turn the water clear. No way I have 18 ppm of chlorine in the pool. The bright side the next test showed no CC. I bought this test with the intention of doing an overnight chlorine loss test to see if I should SLAM but I need help get it dialed in. Any suggestions?
