TF-100 refills

I have a few items in my TF-100 that will not last the coming summer.
Should I wait to purchase when I actually need them or at the beginning of summer?
I read on another post that the agents may not be acurate after they are 18 months old from date of purchase, is that true or just a general guideline?
Does anyone else sell the agents?
Will TFTestkits.net have a sale?
