Texas Pool Disaster - Temporary pump and filter?

I made the poor decision of relying on freeze protection during recent winter storm. Freezing didn't take long (my equipment must be in a bad spot). Things started to crack soon after, starting with an extraneous 1" pipe from an old chlorinator. By the end of it all, everything was toast. I'll be replacing and upgrading the filter and pumps, along with new plumbing and wiring. But that's going to be another 6-8 weeks out.

In the mean time, is it possible to run a plug-in pump (e.g. the kind available for ponds), and connect some type of inline filter? Any recommendations on what pump and filter would work? My spa is getting dirty the fastest. I've got 32.3K gallons total. But I figure even a 1500-1800 gal/min pump could help with the dirt/sediment that's too fine for even a silt rake. Trying to keep cost down because I may only need it for these 2 months.

Thanks

Figure out what pumps are available that you might want to buy and post links and pics of your pool and equipment pad and we will try and help you McGyver a temporary setup.

Otherwise put 5 ppm of liquid chlorine into your pool and spa every day and stir it with your pool brush. That will keep the water ok until your get things running.
