I added shock 6 days ago should I add shock again or add chlorine preferably liquid kind (it seems like dissolving this kind of a pain in the butt)

You need to follow the FC/CYA Levels
How are you testing your pool water chemistry?
I suggest you read through Pool Care Basics - Trouble Free Pool and even look at a few of our videos TFP-TV - the Trouble Free Pool

Follow the FC/CYA levels. You need to add liquid chlorine every day.

I'm just wondering since my total chlorine is only at 1.5 if I should shock the pool again or just add chlorine

Read Pool Care Basics. TFPC does not 'shock' a pool.

What does your water look like?

My water is crystal clear right now but every time I shock it it turns a little green and then in like 4-6 hours it's Crystal clear again

That is likely iron. You need to follow the FC/CYA tables and add a little chlorine each day.

TC is not a good metric.
Use FC and CC instead. Those tell more of the true story.

With TC of 1.5 your FC and CC could be:
1.5 FC 0.0 CC
0.0 FC 1.5 CC
Or anywhere between

Add enough chlorine to get tonear the top of the target range for your CYA.
