I thought I posted this earlier but I don’t see it - if it’s a duplicate I apologize. I was testing my water today and tried the test for TA. I filled the test tube to 25ml, then added 2 drops R-0007, swirled, added 5 drops R-0008 and swirled. Green liquid as expected. I then started adding, drop wise, R-0009. After 4 drops the liquid turned a light blue, after 3 more drops the liquid turned yellow and stayed yellow. It never turned red. I tried this twice more with the same results. Any thoughts on why this is happening? The test chemicals are fresh as of March this year. Test kit is Taylor k-2005

Clean your tube with rubbing alcohol and dry. Try the test again. If you have paper coffee filters, they work great to clean the tubes and leave not "hairs" like paper towel.

I think you may have some contamination in your vial.
