I have an intex 12x24, 8403 gallon pool. I use the Taylor K-2006 testing kit and it always seems that my TA is high. Is there any way to prevent this? All my other values (except ph, which is high, goes along with the high TA) are good, FC, CYA, etc.

Also, how important is it to test Calcium Hardness in an above ground pool?

What is your TA test results? Im having a similar situation with my pool. TA is hovering around 110 every test, and my PH seems to be creeping higher.
I threw some muriatic acid in to drop it down to 7.4-7.5 today. Im thinking mine may be from local city water, but I haven’t tested it yet.
