My TA was 80 but I wanted to get it up to 100 (for some reason). I added Baking Soda but it is now 150.

My question is if a TA of 150 needs to be addressed. I know its not in the ideal and recommended range, but should I leave it or address it?

Will it fix itself?

Thanks

If your pH isn't flying up through the roof too fast, then no, it's not a major concern. Over the course of the season with acid applications it should slowly come down. If you do want to knock it down quickly, when the pH hits 8.0 use enough acid to lower the pH to about 7.0-7.2. Then let the pH float up again and repeat. Each time you do that it should put a dent in the TA.
