I have about an 18k pool/spa and have been maintaining the pool myself. I'm ready to switch to salt. I have pentair Intelliflo, clean and clear cartridge and heater. No automation, I have the intermatic dual clocks.

I was talking to the pool guy about a new SWG but he said to hold off for.the new Pentair if I was going to stick with that brand. But I see circupool has a system also which may work out for me.

I'm posting a picture of the system. I was hoping they can just remove the in line chlorinator and drop in the swg assuming it will fit.

If anyone has a line on a reliable company to install in the houston/sugarland area let me know. I'm sure the pool store can do Pentair but if go with circupool, not sure who will install that for me. Preferably I get a system that will last a while without huge issues/troubleshooting. Any advise on which system to go with and any additional advise would be greatly appreciated. I'm with with a higher up front cost if th3 cell will last long and less issues down the road.

Thanks

If you don't plan on adding automation in the future, look at the Circupool RJ45+ or RJ60+.
Discount Salt Pools usually has a sale where the RJ60+ is $10 or so more than the RJ45+.

We recommend a SWG that had a capacity that is at least 2x your pool volume.

A salt pool is a chlorine pool and a chlorine pool is a salt pool. Be sure to test your salt level before adding any salt when you install the SWG.

Anyone have a line on someone who can help with install in the houston area? I contacted s few places but they only deal with products they sell.

I'm also thinking of a diverter/bypass for the heater. So would like this all done st the same time.
