Thinking about puling the trigger on a salt conversion. Pool is fairly new and I use the liquid method. Looking at my returns in the pic can I add swg where the inline chlorinator is ? I don’t have room between the check valve and heater . I also have aqua link rs 6 that all channels are used up . Will I need to upgrade to a rs8 to be able to control jandy Swg through automation?

For the SWG cell you should be able to replace the Powerclean with a vertical installation. Measure to make sure you can free up 6.5" of pipe as shown in the photo:



You'll need to cut the existing pipe off flush with the valve face, then use 2.5" couplers over the valves (similar to how the other valves are plumbed), then reducers to get you back to 2".
