I gave a Blue Essence SWG and a 10K gal pool.
Salt cell is Hayward GLX-CEL-5-W the SN is 1E22272-404459. I got this cell as a replacement about a year ago.

I have tries to reset the salt reading. I took a manual reading with Taylor K1766 test kit and I get 2600

Any ideas?

Here are my readings from the SWG

My guess is that the cell has failed. The replacement you received was 3000 hour 1 year warranty cell built on the 272nd day of 2022 (around early Sept 2022). If you put it into service less than a year ago, Hayward may be able to assist you but probably not likely.

Take the cell to the pool store and have them test on a Hayward tester. Will give you a simple PASS/FAIL readout. And you will have your answer. If it passes, let us know and we can direct you on next steps.

You can compare sizes and devices on this chart- Compare and Review Saltwater Chlorine Generator Prices and Features | DSP

The CircuPool has served many here well, but there are others for sure. Just remember that you want a device that is at least 2x the pool volume for assurance of having all the chlorine you want and need. We hate reading that pool builders only put in the minimum cell, which often can require augmenting with other forms of chlorine when the cell can't keep up with demand by long hot sunny summers, high bather load, etc.
